Hi friends! Can you believe we are almost through Summer? Seems like the longest – but shortest- summer in awhile! & right now I am starting to very slowly see fall styles begin to trickle in, and people are talking going back to school – whether that means virtually or in person!
I have to tell you – my style has definitely changed the past couple months – no longer working in an office for the time being means I have traded in my pencil skirts + blouses for comfy dresses, biker shorts, and graphic tees!! This work from home model has given me the perfect opportunity to merge the comfy + cute styles, and try new trends like biker shorts (LOVE THEM) and bold tie dye! It is also giving me the opportunity to really wear FUN items when I go out since an outing doesn’t happen that often anymore! I am so excited to partner with rue21 on really defining my style. One day I can be feeling super girly and want to throw on a dress, and another day I am totally feeling the graphic tees! So if you are heading back to campus or back to school – or maybe just doing it virtually – check out some fun new items you can incorporate into your wardrobe!
Look 1- Graphic Tee + Biker Shorts = perfect for a long stroll through the neighborhood or WFH/Virtual classes
Its no secret I love a good band tee – and this one incorporates some of my favorite trends – bold colors + bleach dye! This Guns N Roses tshirt is a steal for $18.99. I paired it with the comfiest (not even kidding) biker shorts for $10! This belt bag is perfect for my daily strolls through my neighborhood in case I want to pop into a nearby restaurant or coffee shop to grab something and need to carry my wallet!
Look 2 – Graphic tee + midi skirt = Weekend Errands or shopping at the mall
Look 3 – Tie dye dress + denim jacket = perfect for an outdoor restaurant or picnic!
This tie-dye dress that comes in a few other prints pairs with this black denim jacket is a perfect cool + fun look for an easy summer to fall transition. Pair it with these 60’s style sunglasses and you are set!
